Terms of Use for the InBook Website and App:
1. Introduction:
InBook is a specialized photo printing and delivery website. All InBook policies and procedures are intended to support a clear, lawful, and reliable online ordering experience. If these terms, procedures, or services change in the future, updates will be published on this page. Continued use of the site means you accept those changes.
2. Definition of Customer or User:
A customer or user is a person who uses their account information, entered during registration, to place an order or use any InBook service.
3. Membership Requirement:
The minimum requirements for using InBook services are being of legal age and having a valid payment method for online purchases. Minors may use InBook services under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
4. Privacy:
InBook makes every effort to protect personal information and will not provide users’ personal information to any organization, company, or third party except where required by law or with prior user notice. For more information, please review the Privacy Policy.
5. User-Submitted Content:
InBook is not responsible for content submitted by users. By uploading photos, the user confirms that they have the right to use, store, and print those photos and that doing so does not violate another person’s rights or applicable law. Responsibility for any violation rests with the person who submitted the photo. Please do not submit obscene, nude, illegal, or political content. Users who violate this condition may lose access after appropriate warnings.
6. File Storage:
Photo storage at InBook is limited. After the customer confirms receipt of printed photos, uploaded images may be deleted. Files are kept securely until the order is shipped, but InBook’s responsibility for file loss is limited and does not create financial liability.
7. Access Suspension:
Violation of InBook rules may, at InBook’s discretion, result in written warnings, temporary access suspension, or permanent account termination. Normally, after one warning, a repeated violation may lead to a one-week suspension, and further violations may lead to permanent termination. Timing and decisions may vary based on the situation. Users are responsible for protecting their username and password, and all activity under their account is their responsibility.
8. Submitted Image Quality:
The customer is responsible for checking the quality and size of submitted images. InBook prints files as submitted by the customer and is not responsible for low quality, incorrect sizing, or unsuitable images after printing. App, website, and support warnings are provided for information only. For orders submitted through messaging channels, photos are printed in the order received unless otherwise arranged; for website and app orders, order and cover design follow the customer’s selections.
9. Order Replacement or Complaint Review:
For messaging-channel orders, photos should be sent as files and clearly named because message volume can cause order or note mistakes.
If our team designs your album, the collage is created using the submitted or uploaded photo order, and the designer may adjust placement when needed.
For product-quality complaints, the customer must send the order to the InBook office for review. If the issue is confirmed as InBook’s responsibility, we will correct it. If not, shipping and related costs are the customer’s responsibility. Because uploaded files are kept for a limited time after shipping, complaints must be submitted within that period.
10. Free Gifts:
InBook may offer free gifts during promotional periods with prior notice. The payment received from the customer applies to the purchased InBook product only, and warranty or print guarantees apply only to that product. Free gifts of any kind, such as 9×9 photos, string lights, coloured hearts, candles, or similar items, are promotional and may stop when supplies run out without creating any obligation for InBook.
11. Print Quality and Type:
All photobooks, including InBook, MixBook, and VBook, are printed using a digital Piezoelectric Inkjet system suitable for high-quality double-sided photobook printing. One-sided photo products, including photo frames, mounted prints, and magnets, use lab-quality photo printing.
12. Packaging and Delivery:
Orders shipped by postal or courier services are packaged to help protect the album, but packaging and protective cases are not included in the product warranty if damaged during transport. Packaging cost may not be included in the product price, and case colour may not match the cover colour. Shipping responsibility rests with the carrier and customer, and InBook is not responsible for incorrect handling, late delivery, or delivery errors by postal, courier, or pickup services.
13. Reserved Orders:
Reserved orders require photos to be submitted within the stated deadline. If the deadline passes, the order may be cancelled and no refund will be issued. The customer is responsible for submitting photos before the reservation deadline, and InBook is not responsible for missed deadlines.
14. Copyright:
All website content, including text, images, logos, and other materials, belongs to InBook. Use by any person or organization without written permission is prohibited.
15. Force Majeure:
These terms apply under normal conditions. InBook has no responsibility for events outside its reasonable control.
